Dr. Karen Biser

Dr. Karen Biser was born and raised in western Kansas. She was involved in a variety of sports throughout school, excelling in basketball and tennis. She continued her athletic and academic endeavors at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

During her final year of college, Dr. Biser began experiencing headaches that did not respond to traditional treatment. She was referred to a chiropractor where she experienced complete resolution of her headaches. Inspired by the profession's holistic focus on wellness and prevention, and impressed by her own experience with chiropractic, Dr. Biser attended Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian of her class. She has been practicing with Gardiner Family Chiropractic since November 2006.

Dr. Biser has a special interest in fitness, rehabiliation, and strength training, and she is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.  She has also undergone training in the Kinesio Taping Method through the Kinesio Taping Association.

Dr. Biser enjoys traveling, music, playing the guitar, and running. She and her husband, Dale, reside in Augusta.

Dr. Biser is a member of the Maine Chiropractic Association, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and Business Network International.
